Our Beach hut is situated at Alum Chine
As seen in The Times, Alum Chine Beach is included in the Top 50 Beaches in the World!
Just a 20-minute drive from the cottage, Alum Chine is one of Bournemouth’s favourite Blue Flag award winning beaches! It is particularly loved by locals for its exceptionally clean sand and for the fact that it is situated away from the hustle and bustle of Bournemouth Pier and town centre.
It’s hugely popular with families thanks to the lovely pirate themed adventure playground, easily accessible toilets and baby changing facilities, RNLI lifeguard stations and of course the ice cream kiosks. Children also delight in waving at the land train, which runs from Bournemouth Pier up to Branksome Chine (close to Sandbanks). You can hop on and off at any of it’s stops along the beach.
We have Incredible beaches
Cycling is permitted along the promenade (times vary seasonally). Various water sports are located just down the beach at Branksome Dean Chine.
Close by parking on Alum Chine or the next nearest Branksome Chine Dene.
The beach hut comes fully kitted out for families with beach towels, toys, chairs and tables as well as a gas hob and cooking utensils.
