Should another lockdown happen we will look to rebook your dates or refund.  If you or any of your family have to cancel due to illness and contracting the virus please can you investigate insurance for cover.  

We would require confirmation from your GP should you have to cancel your trip.  We aim to be as flexible as possible.   We are taking major steps in cleaning the premises thoroughly prior to each stay and changeover. 

Check in times are now 5pm or after due to the extra cleaning.  Should you contract Coronavirus during your holiday we cannot take responsibility for this you come at your own risk.

Please note;

  1. A 25% deposit to confirm your reservation ( as opposed to the usual 50% deposit ) is required.  This is a non refundable deposit except if a lockdown is placed in the New Forest area where the cottage is situated.
  • A delayed balance payment to be paid 4 weeks prior to arrival as opposed to 8 weeks.

We recommend purchasing Covid-19 inclusive insurance cover ( Nationwide and Coverwise seem to be the best) in case of governments restrictions affecting the area in which you are based but not our own location.  In any circumstance when you need to cancel your holiday here we will offer any assistance we can and try and rebook your dates and offer a possible refund.  Should you or your family contract Covid-19 or have to isolate please check with your insurance company if you are covered.  We would also require a letter from your GP.


We are now cleaning double what we normally do and are changing over some toys and throws in the rental.  We are using specific products but that are child safe. Should you wish us not to put toys etc into the property please let us know. All our guests have been fine to carry on as normal provided this extra cleaning is in place.  Please note you travel at your own risk and must abide by any regulations that the government legislate, which as we all know seem to change on a daily basis so please always check prior to your arrival.

We ask you respect the guests arriving after you and that you check out no later than 9.30pm, check in is now 5pm or after unless we can get you in earlier. We will let you know on the day.
